Chumoukedima, June 19 (MExN): A free rabies vaccination camp was conducted at Sovima Village on June 19.

According to the Sovima Village Council, more than 100 pets were administered anti-rabies vaccinations during the drive. New vaccination cards were also issued to pet owners who did not previously have one, ensuring proper documentation of the animals.
The Sovima Village Council expressed gratitude to the Department for organising the camp, stating that such initiatives contribute to safeguarding both animal and human health and support efforts towards building a rabies-free community.
