Special leave granted to Hindi Teachers as ANHTU celebrates state level Hindi Diwas

Kohima, September 12 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teacher’s Union (ANHTU) and Nagaland Parishad will observe 18th State Level Hindi Diwas on 29th September at Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima at 11 am. MLA & Chairman NKVIB and Advisor MTF Dr. Nicky Kire will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Its union general secretary in a press release stated that there will be union general election on the stated day as soon as the function gets over.
It also informed that the Directorate of School Education granted two days special leave for Nagaland Hindi Teachers in respect of Hindi Diwas every year, thereby, it stated, the union decided that it is compulsory for all Hindi teachers in Kohima district to attend the programme where absentees shall be deducted one day wages from their salary. The unit presidents are also requested to initiate at least 15 Hindi teachers from each respective unit to attend the programme positively.
Meanwhile, in a separate press information, the Principal Director, School Education Bendangkokba IAS, has informed that all the government Hindi Teachers who are serving both in government and private schools under school education department are granted two days special leave for 19 and 20 September to enable them to participate the 18th State level Hindi Diwas celebration to be held at Red Cross Building at Kohima on 20th September.
