Special Olympics Nagaland and GPS PWD Dimapur host ‘unified art’ event

Special Olympics Nagaland (SON), in collaboration with Government Primary School (GPS), PWD, Dimapur, organised an art competition on October 28.

Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): Special Olympics Nagaland (SON), in collaboration with Government Primary School (GPS), PWD, Dimapur, organised an art competition titled ‘Unified Art for Ability – One Heart, Many Gifts’ at GPS, PWD, Dimapur on October 28.

The event, sponsored by the school, was held to mark the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) for the first time in the state, a SON press note said.

It brought together GPS students and SON Special Athletes in a “joyful expression of inclusion and creativity,” it added.

In the SON category, Tiaba Tzudir, Yantso Kikon, and Moatula secured the first, second, and third positions, respectively. Among the GPS Class 1 students, Ngumi, Ajenla, and Tsushila won the first, second, and third prizes.

All participants were honoured with certificates and gift hampers.

Special Olympics Nagaland extended its gratitude to the entire team of GPS, PWD, Dimapur, for their “generous sponsorship, love, and support” in making the event a memorable celebration of unity through art.
