Kohima, February 19 (MExN): In supersession of all previous orders and in the interest of public service, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has announced that special permit to open shop on Sundays shall be issued to three shops per colony on recommendation of respective elected ward councillor.
However, the following under mentioned shops and locations shall be exempted from the purview. Bakeries, Hotel chains, restaurants, meat, fish and fowl shops will continue to operate as usual.
” All shops within the Naga Hospital compound shall be exempted and be allowed to open on all Sundays on special ground,” KMC Chief Executive Officer, T Lanusenla Longkumer stated in the order.
