A special vaccination drive was carried out for Pungro town and its neighboring villages under the supervision of ADC, Pungro, Abhinav Shivam, IAS and Medical team on June 30. According to the ADC, during the drive they had faced a lot of issues due to rumors, but after briefing on the importance of vaccination, people turned up for vaccination in good numbers and took the vaccines. The vaccination was carried out at Rest House ward, Officers ward, Badminton ward, Likimro Hydro Electrical Project, Longkhimong village and Tsurewong village respectively.
