Dimapur, October 19 (MExN): The Nagaland unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BPJ) has denounced the “special recruitment drive” as eyewash to cover corruption at the ministerial level. The “SRD” of the Nagaland government is “malicious” and one of “white lies” which has only “degraded the image of the backward tribes,” the BJP said.
The BJP issued a press release today calling the ‘SRD’ as “ridiculous and unfortunate” which also evinced resentment fro the students’ community. “NPF (Naga People’s Front) government reservation policy and its motive behind are to attract the public attention. Recent announcement of special recruitment drive for less represented tribes is just to cover-up its corruptions at the ministerial level; the state government stage-manage offer of a lucrative posts for deprive tribes are thus the NPF-led government preplan program to remain in power,” the press release by Yambos Murry, BJP general secretary, stated.
If the state government really wants to improve the condition of “educated unemployed” in the state, the BJP said, “why not accommodate the young qualify educated degree and diploma holders of different fields” and offer them assignments “up to some estimated to cost of 1 crore.” The BJP said there are ‘thousands of qualified unemployed’ who are desperately seeking “service” but they are “loitering in towns and villages without job after they had pursue their degree.” In fact, the party explained, the youth are forced to extreme steps and take to antisocial activities as the government failed them and they cannot stand on their own means.
The NPF government’s concern for the youth should be tested, the party said. ‘This government speaks about development, why would it not attract lakhs of young people in the government jobs and private sector?’ the BJP queried. The BJP has advised the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland government to completely stop the appeasement policies and deliver justice to all. ‘The BJP party would never honor gimmickry or mockery which also hurt sentiments and divide the society,’ the BJP said, adding that the NPF-led government should stop seeking electoral gains now that the assembly elections are nearing.
