Jakhama, January 4 (MExN): To help students establish lifelong healthy behaviours and recognise the importance of health and wellness, one-day session was held in Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Chizami on January 4.
Rev Fr C Joseph, Counsellor, St Joseph’s College, Jakhama was the resource person to animate the sessions for the students on ‘health and wellness.’ His talks aimed to enhance the physical, emotional and mental health risks of a person. Having good health and wellness can improve their quality of life, reduce stress and anxiety, and help them live a longer and healthier life, he added while urging the students to take care of their mental, physical and spiritual factors rather than focusing on a problem.
The programme included iteration, songs, talks on health and wellness, youth and substance abuse and how to take care of the body etc.
