Dimapur, December 20 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party Nagaland Kisan Morcha 1st executive meeting cum pre-Christmas was held on December 18 at Tourist Lodge Dimapur. The meeting was attended from different districts along with state officials.
The house resolved that Kisan Morcha from District level to Mandal level forming should be completed by the end of January 2019 and submission of list will be in the 1st week of February 2019 to the head office Kisan Morcha Nagaland.
State Kisan Morcha in its first state executive meeting resolved that the Morcha will assist all possible help and coordinate with the agriculture and allied departments in the state in order to reach out all government schemes to the grassroot level judicially as per government guidelines and norms.
It also resolved and endorsed that all party legislators need to be directed from the state party level to attend office regularly to address public grievances in time.
A press release stated that Er. S Jami, President, Kisan Morcha assured all party workers that the party will come to power at the centre for another term and not to be misled by propaganda but to work hard.
Er. C Kawang Konyak, Vice President, State, incharge Kisan Morcha encouraged the Morcha officials to coordinate with the party and farmers. T. Mirhu, General Secretary, Kisan Morcha State also gave a report. Akum S. Walling, Vice President, Kisan Morcha pronounced vote of thanks.
