Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland will be celebrating Pre Christmas 2011, on Sunday, December 11 at 3:30 pm at the party office, Super Market, Dimapur, to mark the onset of the festive season of peace, forgiveness and thanksgiving.
“There is no better appropriate time to highlight the need for peace than on this occasion in the backdrop of a virulent era of our society very much in need of the virtues of peace and understanding, the profound basis of Christianity,” BJP Nagaland Media Cell, Convenor, Jaangsillung Gonmei stated in a press note while requesting all the party workers, well wishers and supporters to join the celebration by attending the function positively.
The state President, M. Chuba, has also greeted everyone across the state a very happy Christmas filled with peace, forgiveness and happiness and a New Year that will usher in an era of all round development. He has asked all to celebrate Christmas meaningfully and spiritually rather than materialistically.
