CM to grace Tenyimi Elders' Meet
DIMAPUR, March 4 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be gracing the Tenyimi Elders' Meet on Saturday March 5 at the Community Hall Kuda Village 'A' Khel at 10:00 am. The programme which is being organized by the Tenyimi Women's Union Dimapur Nagaland would also be graced by patrons Kuzholuzo Neinu minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shürhozelie, minister for Higher Education and Urban Development, T.R. Zeliang minister for Planning and Vetenary and Animal Husbandry and K.V. Pusa MLA.
Wokha DPDB meeting postponed
Wokha, March 4 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner Wokha has informed to all DPDB members that the monthly DPDB meeting for the month of March has been postponed to March 11, which will be held at DC’s conference hall at 11:00 a.m. In this regard the Deputy Commissioner has requested all the members to attend the meeting positively.
YSUD general session 2011
DIMAPUR, March 4 (MExN): The Yimchunger Students’ Union Dimapur (YSUD) general session 2011 will be held on March 12 at the Union treasurer. YSUD president Y. Kihoto Yim in a press release has requested all students from class 8 and above including Hindi and theological students to attend the session positively. Failing which the union shall be compelled to question as per the union’s resolution.
Workshop on Library from March 7
DIMAPUR, March 4 (MExN): The Department of Art and Culture, Nagaland in collaboration with National Library Kolkata is organizing a weeklong workshop on Conservation of Library Materials and Book Binding Training from March 7 to 11 at Centre for Community Transformation (CCT), Walford Road, Bank Colony, Dimapur. All District Cultural Officers are requested to send participants from their respective District excluding last year’s participants. Experts’ team from National Library, Kolkata will train the trainers. The inaugural function will be graced by Som Kamei, Director, NEZCC, Dimapur as chief guest at 10:00 am, stated a press note issued by K. Kughazhe Yeputhomi, additional director & H.O.D., Art and

DMC informs
DIMAPUR, March 4 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed the poultry dealers to obtain trade license from DMC within 15 days. Further, it has directed the dealers who are involved in backyard rearing of poultry to maintain proper vaccinated enclosure as certified by qualified veterinary doctor. Failing to comply, action will be initiated by imposing penalty as per Nagaland Municipal Act 2001, stated the advisor in-charge of Veterinary Public health Cell, DMC in a press note. Also in another press note, the chief executive officer, DMC has informed the owners of "hand cart/cycle rickshaw/bicycle/trolley carts" and rickshaw driving license holders that the renewal of DMC Registration Certificate /license for the year 2011 shall be issued from March 15. All are directed to renew their respective licenses within March 15 without fail.
