State Level Consultative workshop held at St Xavier College Jalukie

Jalukie, November 30 (MExN): St. Xavier College, Jalukie organized a day long State Level Consultative Workshop on “Challenges in Healthcare,” in collaboration with Development Association of Nagaland (DAN). Dwelling on the theme ‘Together Towards Healthy Communities in Diseases Control and Preparedness” on November 27.  

S Tianiu, Deputy Commissioner, Peren, presented keynote address appreciating the efforts of the organizers and their network of healthcare programmes across the state. She called upon collective effort to create a healthy world for all.   Major Yashvir, AR, Athibung spoke for a healthier world beginning with disciplining self and being creative in one’s own situation.  

A press release from Rampisinang, Ambassador, St Xavier College stated that Major Yashvir enlightened on the theme explaining the aspects of a healthier life. Jiji Jose, SPO, DAN; Metevinuo Jt. Director, IEC, NSACS, Nagaland; Ngauzeulungbe, DAPCU; Dr Godfrey, Director, Global Holistic Health Centre, Jalukie; Marykali Yepthomi UNICEF were resources presenting information, data, personal experiences and challenges for the audience to build on.  

Rev Fr Charles, Director DAN enlightened the gathering. Legal Literacy Club and Eco Clubs of the college presented cultural dances and songs. Apale of SXCJ and Martha of DAN were the coordinators. “It’s a joy to have Administrators, professionals, intellectuals and social workers across the table with the young generation to think and plan for a healthier future which is a joint responsibility,” said Dr. Francis Cheerangal, Principal while acknowledging the resources, participants and DAN for facilitating the workshop.
