A three day State Level Pre- Subroto Tournament U-17 Boys commenced here today at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In the first match, Greenwood Higher Secondary School Dimapur overpowered Nazareth Higher Secondary School Pfutsero 5-0.
Lidikhum N Sangtam opened the account for Greenwood Higher Secondary School in the 5th minute.
Zhouviku Lam contributed two goals while Lohwang and Aron Kikon added a goal each.
King David Higher Secondary School Medziphema downed Govt. Higher Secondary School Hakushang , Tuensang 3-2.
Metsisietuo Terhuja, Medosevi Terhuja and Keviu Secii fetched a goal each for King David Higher Secondary School.
Nokching Ngaku and Besu Chingmak netted a goal each for Govt. Higher Secondary School Hakushang.
In 3rd match, PM Shri GHSS Thangjam, Tuensang defeated Nazareth Higher Secondary School Pfutsero 4-1.
Kaihou, Yaolai, Puchio L and Whoammo netted a goal each for PM Shri GHSS Thangjam.
Cheru Lomi contributed a lone goal for Nazareth Higher Secondary School.
King David Higher Secondary School defeated Cornerstone Higher secondary School Zunheboto 3-1 in the last match of the day
Medosevi Terhuja connected two goals for King David Higher Secondary School while Neisetso Yalie added another goal.
Iloka Chishi fetched a solitary goal for Cornerstone Higher secondary School.
The tournament, to continue till July 23, is organized by Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland in collaboration with Nagaland Football Association.
