Kohima, November 17 (DIPR): The “Quami Ekta Week” (National Integration Week) will be observed all over the country from November 19 to 25. The National Integration pledge will be taken on November 19 with the pledge reproduced below:
National Integration Pledge- “I solemnly pledge to work with dedication to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the Nation. I further affirm that I shall never resort to violence and that I will continue to endeavour towards settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievance by peaceful and constitutional means”.
In this regard, the Home Department has requested all departments to organise a suitable function to administer the pledge and to observe the “National Integration Week” in a befitting manner.
