The Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, on March 30 launched weeklong steel fabrication training under the PACES – Providing Access to Core Employability Skills initiative at the Community Hall, Wokha Village.
The programme seeks to empower local youth by equipping them with practical, income-generating skills, thereby promoting self-employment and encouraging small-scale enterprise development. A total of 25 trainees from Humtso, Elumyo, and Wokha Village have been selected for the first batch. The training will run for seven days, comprising 50 hours of intensive hands-on instruction.
