To all political parties, especially those who have had been stakeholders of power in recent times - be at the Centre or the State, PLEASE, do not bring new promises to Nagas anymore. We neither require nor buying it. Just complete the unfinished projects and rebuild all the crumbling infrastructures, the same squabbling lots of you have collectively gifted to the state.
For this term have mercy on the people and don't dig any more roads. Just declare a war on potholes, dust and slush on our existing roads. Tarmac all the inter-district, interstate and the national highways. Keep the rest of the roads motorable and safe all year round for all manners of vehicles and the people. Collect toll tax from us if you have justification to maintain them!
Provide electricity to light up every home in Nagaland. Give us electricity with sufficient power to run our machinery and equipment. To operate our private industries, factories, mills, workshops and garages. Bill us strictly and regularly for the power consumed!
Let every citizen have access to safe, sufficient and efficient water supply.
Nagaland has surplus water flowing past the state's boundaries enough to sustain the present population multiplied by ten. The surface water alone is enough to sustain all the agricultural requirements and we will still have more to spare. Bill us for the water used!
For starters, let each and every staff of the Education and Medical Health services be in their respective place of postings. Provide them with their operational requirements.
The rest of the departments, the rest of your visions, the rest of your dreams, and the rest of your plans and promises can be shared on next elections and get implemented.
Stop talking about BRINGING DEVELOPMENT and resolving the NAGA ISSUE (You all did that 10 years ago and it's still fresh). Bringing development shouldn't even be an agenda. It is your job! And if you haven't noticed, every sane and responsible Naga supports the parleys between GOI and NNPGs! Stop repeating your support for the same over and over. It's understood, even if not believed.
As political parties and politicians show the people that corruption, nepotism, tribalism and divisive politics will slowly but surely find no time or space in the NLA and the GON.
Start competing with each other to SERVE the people! Stop making alliances with each other and spitting upon one another to RULE and ROB the people!
