School children aged 6-12 from Bumblebee School Kohima and Stella Higher Secondary School Kohima were regaled with stories by children's book authors, Kevi Z. Kevichusa and Molona Wati Longchar at “My Playland” at the Capital Cultural Hall Complex Kohima as part of the Nagaland Literature Festival on the eve of Children's Day.

A total of 22 school children from the two schools participated in the activity and were also provided with book hampers. 
Mention may be made here that Kevi Z Kevichusa has a background in education, media, and advertising, and is committed to connecting people, especially children, to their history and their roots through writing, collecting, and re-telling of narratives, stories, and the creation of art. 

Her first children’s book, Nino’s Secret Garden, was published under Barkweaver in 2021 and she also currently serves on the pastoral team of Kingdom Culture Church in Dimapur.

The other storyteller, Molona Wati Longchar is an independent creative consultant based in Dimapur, Nagaland, who believes in the power of storytelling. 

She has over 13 years experience of building some of the most iconic brands in India - IndiGo, Make in India, Airbnb, Oberoi, Royal Enfield, Nike, Budweiser, Audi, Dalmia, Incredible India, Fab India, Forest Essentials, etc.

Molona moved back to Nagaland in 2019, and her focus has since shifted to local and indigenous narratives. She also previously worked on “Shadows: A Graphic Collection of Folktales From Nagaland” with DesignStash and the Department of Art & Culture, Nagaland in 2011 and further self-published her first children’s book “My Ao-Some Dog”, which also has an Ao edition titled, “Kü Terenemjem Azü”.
