SHAMATOR, DECEMBER 6 (MExN): The Shamator Town Public Forum (STPF) has strongly condemned the “tragic and senseless” killing of Yanrukiu Yimkhiung of Longtsunger village, who was murdered in Shamator town on December 5. The Forum said the incident has shocked and saddened the entire community, adding that such acts of violence have no place in a peaceful society.
The STPF conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for comfort and strength during the difficult time, while also wishing eternal peace for the departed soul.
The Forum appealed to law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough and prompt investigation and to ensure that those responsible for the crime are identified and given appropriate punishment without delay.
