Kohima, September 15 (MExN): Suipoi of Class V Chest No. 502, son of Pauteube and Akwale was declared the Johnian Spelling Master 2018 and won the most covetous Reiphinyü Sekhose Ever Rolling Memorial Trophy.
The annual Johnian Spelling Championship of St. John’s School Kohima was held on September 15 under the theme ‘Quest for Excellence’ with Khriezolenuo Sekhose, Headmistress as guest of honour.
It was stated in a press release that the award also carries a citation certificate of Johnian Spelling Master and scholarship for the year 2019. “This intellectual pursuit was held under the aegis of English Department and was witnessed by parents, invitees, students and teachers,” the release added.
