Dimapur, January 14 (MexN): The Sumi Hoho today said that action of the Government of India has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Nagas and the Sumis in particular. The Sumi Hoho President, H. Hesso and General Secretary Vihuto Asumi in press statement said that the Sumi Hoho and its frontal organizations were hectically preparing to host the NSCN/GPRN leaders Isak Chishi Swu and Th.Muivah to Zunheboto. “With Isak Chishi Swu proposed to visit his home town after 5 decades, the Sumi public was eagerly waiting to receive him. However, with the rejection of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, we regret to make mention that inspite of our leaders willingness to meet Sumi public, they failed to turn up as the terms and conditions laid down could not be compromised by them,” the Sumi Hoho stated.
