Announces coaching sponsorship for aspirants
Kiphire, October 17 (MExN): The Seyochung Village Students' Union (SVSU) donated a collection of NPSC and NSSB study materials to the Zisaji Presidency College library, Kiphire on October 17.
During the donation event, SVSU President Longtili C Sangtam announced a significant initiative to sponsor 85% of the course fees for students from the college who wish to undertake NPSC and NSSB coaching in Kohima or Dimapur.
The move is aimed at encouraging and supporting students from Kiphire in their preparation for competitive examinations and fostering public service careers, SVSU said in a press release.
The Vice Principal of the college appreciated the Union’s effort and emphasised the need for more commerce, technical, and market-oriented courses in the district to equip students with employable skills.
Librarian K Chiyuh expressed gratitude for the donation, assuring that the materials would be properly catalogued and made accessible to students, teachers, and staff to enhance learning and research.
The Union acknowledged the Eduversity Institute, the lead partner for the Triennale Session 2025, for its support and provision of study materials.
