KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 20 (MExN): A campaign roll out programme under Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 was conducted at the Phek Town Council Livestock Market, Jericho-II, Phek Town, on Wednesday.
The programme was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Thejakhrienuo Nisa, who is also the Executive Officer of Phek Town Council. In her address, she stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the district, particularly in markets and drainages.
Chairperson of Phek Town Council, Shevohu Nienu, in his remarks, underlined the importance of waste segregation, calling it the need of the hour.
Phek Town Councillor, Dunepalu Soho, delivered the keynote address. The programme concluded with a cleanliness drive in the market area of Phek Town.
