Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland marked the celebration of World Art Day at Toyota Ki, Kisama on April 15, bringing together young and aspiring artists from various schools across the state.
Gracing the inaugural programme, TaFMA chairman Theja Meru emphasized the importance of nurturing creativity and artistic expression among the youth.
He encouraged the young artists to remain committed to their craft, highlighting how art serves not only as a medium of self-expression but also as a powerful tool for cultural preservation and storytelling.
He further urged the participants to explore their unique artistic identities, experiment with different forms, and draw inspiration from their roots and surroundings.
Stressing the role of discipline and perseverance, he noted that consistent practice and passion are key to growth in any artistic journey.
Meru also reaffirmed TaFMA’s commitment to providing platforms and opportunities for emerging talents to showcase their work and gain wider recognition.
