'Teachers not culprits''Teachers not culprits'

Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): In response to the press statement of the Vigilance & Anti-Corruption’s Special Investigation, the Aggrieved Teachers’ Association of Nagaland (ATAN) today claimed the “teachers are not culprits.”
The association however expressed ‘thanks’ for clarifying “that it is not re-verification but a process of apprehending the culprit.”
“The ATAN noted that as per their verdict, teachers are not culprits. Therefore, we request the Vigilance Department to stop harassing the innocent aggrieved teachers again and again who are left without salaries for the past several months facing untold miseries,” the ATAN stated in a note today.
Also, it was informed that a general meeting was held on February 1, where the ATAN members expressed their inability to “travel up to Kohima to co-operate” due to financial restraints. “The aggrieved teachers are in a mood to go out to the streets to show their resentments if justice is not delivered in time,” the ATAN added.
