Particpants after training programme on modern farm technologies was conducted on February 26, 2011.
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 27 (MExN): One day training programme on modern farm technologies was conducted on February 26, 2011 at the Community Hall, Teichuma village by`Krishi Vigyan Kendra Tesophenyu, Kohima district under the sponsorship of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Kohima. The main objective of the training was to highlight the farmers about the modern farming practices in agriculture and allied sectors. This was stated in a press note issued by G. Ikuto Zhimomi, Programme Co-ordinator of KVK Tesophenyu Kohima, Nagaland.
In the technical session, Imtisenla, Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy) deliberated on the topic “Package of practices of oilseeds with special reference to Sesamum.” Meanwhile, the second resource person Dr.Temjennungsang Subject Matter Specialist (Vety & AH) dwelt on the topic “Scientific rearing of Pig”.
Altogether 35 (thirty five) progressive farmers attended in the training programme. The Programme was chaired
by Zhiete Subject Matter Specialist (Soil & Water Conservation) and the vote of thanks by Thepfuruya, Chairman,Teichuma Village.
