Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), NE-II conducted a Telecom Outreach Programme on September 18 through a hybrid mode with participation from telecom licensees across the North East region.
The programme focused on licence fee, spectrum usage charges, compliance matters and grievance redressal mechanisms. Senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications highlighted the importance of transparent service delivery, adoption of digital initiatives for ease of operations and enhanced coordination between the Department and industry stakeholders.
In his address, the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA) K Sajal reaffirmed “the government’s commitment to efficiency, accountability, and timely resolution of industry-related issues.”
The event concluded with an interactive session during which participants shared feedback and sought clarifications. The discussions aimed at fostering stronger collaboration for the growth of telecom services in the North East region.
