The Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization (TPO) with the best of intention for protection of Intangki National Park had issued an appeal to all the Nagas through the media to understand the crisis and stand together.
If the state Government is confident that the National Park is safe now on the basis of the court judgments passed so far, the TPO should have no ground to doubt the assurance it has received on the case.
If some words used in the urgent appeal it has made, impelled by experiences of the past loses of Public Reserved Forest (Rangapahar), the organization has hurt the Government and Mr. K. N. Balgopal, the Advocate General of Nagaland, the hurt is regretted.
TPO has acted for the long term interest of the Naga people, deeply conscious of the extra ordinary nature of the issues involved.
