Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The Tesen Baptist Ministry (TBM) has observed Mission Sunday with the theme “Deeper into Missions” on February 13 at Christian English School Compound.
Peida Putlang, President TBM and Haizogong. Secretary, TBM in a press note stated that all the members of three Baptist Churches of Tesen namely Heiranglwa Baptist Church, Old Tesen and New Tesen Baptist Church have come and commitment themselves toward Deeper involvement in doing missions for the extension of God’s king through prayer, by giving and sending.
Tarie Zeliang, MLA 6th Tening Area Constituency exhorted the congregation by saying that we are happy and blessed to be the children of God through our faith in Jesus Christ. He also said that the Christians are called to actualized peace and harmony here on earth. Rev. Iringtie Kauring, Youth Secretary spoke on the theme by sharing that deeper involvement into Missions should start from individual life and individual family basing on the Mathew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:4.
Choirs from Old Tesen and New Tesen Baptist Churches brought the special music during the service. Special offering and contributions of free will donation toward the ministry of Tesen Baptist Mission was done participating by every individual and family. The Office bearers of TBM extend their appreciation to all the members for their active participation and contribution, to both the speakers for their challenging messages.
