Chümoukedima, October 17 (MExN): Tetso College, Sovima organized the 10th edition of its national-level festival, CoMFIESTA 2025 with Temsusenla Jamir, Founder of Fusion, Dimapur as the special guest on October 17.

In her welcome address, Principal Dr Hewasa L Khing emphasized the role of commerce and management education in strengthening Nagaland's economy and encouraged students to strive for excellence and become competent professionals, stated a press release. 

The keynote speaker, Temsusenla Jamir, Founder of Fusion, Dimapur, shared her personal journey and encouraged students to embrace hard work. She highlighted the influence of the Make in India initiative on her venture and discussed how government schemes like PM Vishwakarma support local artisans. Jamir commended the college's facilities and advised aspiring entrepreneurs to gain practical experience before starting a business, while also reminding students to stay connected to their cultural roots.

The festival featured a diverse range of competitive events, including NOVUS (Business Plan Competition), Business Talkathon (Debate), Prove the Mettle, Win the Battle (Interview), BGMI and MOBA 5v5 (E-sports), Contrakeeno’s Quiz, Vignette Business Reels, and Comfiesta’s Got Talent.

Students from various reputed institutions participated such as St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, Dimapur Government College, St Joseph University, Public College, Unity College, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) and Tetso College, showcasing their skills in business, creativity, and teamwork. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where Tetso College was declared the overall champion. 

St Joseph College (Autonomous) was named the overall runner-up and was also recognized for exemplary discipline.
