TSAO Grace Educational Welfare Foundation extends relief to families affected by a recent fire in East Block, Burma Camp, Dimapur.
Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The TSAO Grace Educational Welfare Foundation (TGEWF), Dimapur, has extended relief to families affected by a recent fire in East Block, Burma Camp, near North East Christian University, which left several households homeless.
According to the Foundation, 300 blankets were distributed to the affected families, and lunch and dinner have been provided continuously since the first day of the incident on December 14, 2025.
Relief activities, including distribution of essential materials and community meals, are reported to be ongoing.
The relief initiative has been collectively undertaken by the Directors and members of TGEWF, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to stand with vulnerable communities during times of crisis.
Established on December 18, 2024, the Foundation operates under the motto “Transforming and Empowering Lives” and engages in social welfare initiatives including education, healthcare and community development, the TGEWF stated in a press release.
In addition to emergency relief work, the Foundation regularly organises free medical camps in remote and underserved villages, providing basic healthcare services to needy and underprivileged sections of society, it added.
