KVC officials and others with Kewhimia wrestlers during thanksgiving service on March 18
Kohima, March 19 (MExN): The Kohima Village Council (KVC) has organised a Thanksgiving Service on March 18 for Kewhimia wrestlers- Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü, Menuosetuo Yiese and Vizakietuo Suohu who participated at the recently concluded 30th Naga Wrestling Meet 2026.
The Council accorded a special recognition to Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü and Menuosetuo Yiese for winning the Champion and Runner-up title respectively.
K. Neibou Sekhose, chairman T.Khel Council also spoke at the programme.
The programme was chaired by KVC chairman Helievio Solo while welcome address was delivered by KVC vice chairman Zeneizo Rutsa.
Rev. Dr. Ruokuovilie Sachü, Khedi Baptist Kehou invoked God’s blessings while vote of thanks was delivered by KVC property secretary Vitseituo Pienyü.
