There have been talks about National Government, Supra State and now we are into Interim Govt. Many writers had written about the Naga history very well. Its like circulating the news to the deaf and mute people who just look at things and move no where to accomplish. Few social organizations also erupted and went off faster than they appeared. Some are hanging there but with no productivity nor any specific goals to achieve. The Nagaland Legislative members are now lodged in Delhi pretending to help Nagas as state election is approaching. I wish they resign or went to Delhi at least a year or two ago for this matters. Since few months hanging for their fate, this move perhaps, will draw someone attention, who have no knowledge of what is happening in our society.
Right now the only need for the Nagas is referendum, whether we move for big or small demand. Because in the case of the Nagas, the underground factions needs the public for sovereignty but the public do not need them for their sovereignty.... The public can support them or against them. To me right now if the scale is to be weight, against will be much more than in favour.
Secondly, I think we must select 9 or 11 educated Nagas loving citizens who can not be bought by money, position, power to head a neutral body who will bring a modality for the factions to unite and negotiate with the Government of India for solutions. Thirdly, if the Govt of India continue to say NO to Integration and Naga Sovereignty than we must ask the third country or the third group of people who can negotiate for the fate of the Nagas...
There are many Political Science scholars among the Nagas who can refresh us to know what is there when we already have our statehood? What better solutions we have beside statehood... I am sure they will be able to tell us the Indian constitutions for any solution under statehood or ALONE WITH STATEHOOD.
Lastly, why IM faction determine to have a talks with Indian Government since Jawaharlal Nehru era to Dr. Manmahon Singh The present Prime Minister of India who perceptually reminding the Nagas that NO TO INTEGRATION AND NO TO SOVEREIGNTY.
Since your faction is no longer talking for the sovereignty of the Nagas, you should shun from evil and remain silent till the rest do their part for the Nagas. Or let the public decide for their future as to go under Indian Union or wish to stand for 1947, 14 August the declaration of Naga Independence and 1951 Publicise referendum. If we are to do referendum again it will be landslide voice for the Nagas right.
I hope these few thoughts will provoke some high thinking group of people to stand together.
