The Real Meaning of Church

Holy bible is not a book which exists to appreciate the opposition of God's word and committing sins and adultery. The kingdom of God is not a kingdom of committing sin and mutilating the word of God. In Old Testament, God send his prophets to teach the way of righteousness, rebuking the transgressors of God's word and correcting the wrongdoings of the people to bring them to the Kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ was sent to save the sinful world through teaching, rebuking, training and correcting the people to enable them to enter Heaven. Because that was and is the will of God. Jesus did not appreciate the wrong conduct of the Jews, Pharisees, Scribes etc. but he sacrificed Himself on the cross and fulfilled the scripture as commissioned by His Father and now seated on the right hand of God. Jesus never taught people to commit Sin (Galatians 5:19-21, Rev 21:8).

Today's Church of Christ is entrusted to take up the responsibility of the Old Testament prophets and Jesus Christ. We see the illustrations from COVID-19 Pandemic rules preached by WHO and different Governments. We see many nations strictly following the SOP rules to avoid the attack of coronavirus.

The second death punishment in hell is worse than coronavirus sickness. So, the church needs to learn from WHO, governments and societies who are strictly enforcing the COVID-19 rules. The church today needs to teach the correct rules found in the Holy Bible so that people may be saved from entering Hell.

Churches today have made itself to blend with the modern times, failing to teach what is right, the church needs to be stern in its teaching without adjusting itself to soothe the modern society. Mobile agencies have placed the precautions message as ringtone to save people from the deadly virus.

Majority of the people have been performing their duties to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic, likewise the Church of Christ needs to learn from the present situation. The Church of Christ must perform its duties strictly as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16,17  "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.", and in Revelation 3:19 "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent."

The church of Christ is not entrusted to suppress the word of God rather it is commissioned to proclaim the Holy Scripture rightly and boldly.
