Samples sent for confirmatory RT-PCR tests

Three more police personnel in Dimapur tested positive via TrueNat screening.
While this was not officially declared, police sources disclosed that samples of three constables of West Police Station screened by TrueNat returned positive on July 21.
A health official further informed that the three samples were sent for confirmatory RT-PCR tests today.
There was no official information on the response measures taken, but, West PS wore a deserted look with barricade set up outside the entrance way.
Meanwhile, the official Twitter handle of the Dimapur Police informed that as a “precautionary measure the general access to West Police Station will be partially restricted in view of the preliminary detection of 4(four)suspect Covid case among the PS staff.”
