
Kiphire – Pungro home of Shri.T.Torechu Yimchunger Hon’ble MLA 60th A/C and Chairman DPDB whose caliber and leadership quality in office as people’s representative from this constituency to the state has proved beyond the estimation and imagination of his peer groups excelling in developmental work execution, transparency, equality and most of all his explicit down to earth human by any, holding the highest office of the land is greatly admired and applauded by the people.
With assumption of his office from day one in the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and till date, performance of achievements during this short span of three years speaks volumes not just in black or white writings but in deed too. His detractors and even friends circle inconspicuous with their finger crossed in question were humbled with his public home work resolutions producing results effectively. This activity retrospection of beautiful years will go a long way in the annals of history. “The Golden Years of Progressment”/ “An era of Development period”.
I personally and sincerely also thank Shri.T.Torechu Hon’ble MLA for his endue strength of mental, physical and financial towards the Kiphire Town Council during the formation and up to date, the major task like road widening in and around Kiphire town, connecting life line roads to unreached colonies for which if it weren’t his availability of concern, things would be futile or incomplete. Credit also goes to Shri.R.Joshua Sangtam Chairperson Kiphire Town Council and his collective councilors whose tireless supervision and effort of this work project could be completed and a grand success.
Lastly I also cannot forget to express my gratitude of appreciation in the young and dynamic ablest leadrership of Shri.Neiphiu Rio Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland for declaring 2006 as the year of farmers and his manifold constant concentration to the backward areas, specially infant district like Kiphire, policy “Catch them Young” in all fronts to get ready and meet the challenges ahead in a fast changing world.
