
Live audition round from October 16

The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) has announced the 30 top bands for the live audition round of Ticket to Hornbill-India’s Biggest Band Battle on October 16 and 17 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.
TaFMA chairman Theja Meru told The Morung Express that out of 30 bands, 8 bands will be selected for the grand finale on October 18 from 4:00 PM onwards.
The winner will get Rs 20 lakh while 1st and 2nd Runner- up will receive Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively. The top 3 winners will also earn the opportunity to perform at the upcoming 26th Edition of the Hornbill Music Festival 2025 in December.
Meru expressed his gratitude to Bhikharam Chandmal for coming on board as the Presenter of this year’s Ticket to Hornbill, to the Department of Tourism, Nagaland for all support, Sennheiser (Audio Partner) and Coca-Cola (Official Beverage Partner).
