‘Time to think for urbanization process’

Mokokchung, July 16 (DIPR): River Plate Club, Penli Ward Mokokchung celebrated Silver Jubilee on July 16 with Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, Nagaland Alemtemshi Jamir gracing the occasion as chief guest.
Congratulating the Club members for their efforts in nurturing and bringing the Club till today, Alemtemshi mentioned that the pioneer of the Club had vision beyond the Ward or the Town itself. Acknowledging the Club activities, he said people who are concerned for the community or the society are much needed today to bring about a change in our Naga society.
Alemtemshi also mentioned that Government would be shifting focus towards urban areas through which opportunity for the young people to sustain their talents would be made possible. He said this while stating that so much have been given to the rural areas therefore, it is time to think for urbanization process by taking opinions of the people. He added that it is the responsibility of all the people in the State to envisage in what direction we can develop Nagaland.
Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi while delivering a short speech thanked the River Plate Club for their community services and dedication towards the society saying that others must also learn the good lesson from them. She also mentioned that River Plate Club is a dynamic and working Club. Lithrongla said ‘it is not the numbers or the size of the club but the quality that counts’.
