TNWF, UNTABA, mourn TL Anagami’s death

Dimapur, April 26 (MExN): The Tenyimi National Worker’s Forum (TNWF) and United Naga Tribes Association on Border Areas (UNTABA) have mourned the demise of TL Angami on April 24. 

In a condolence note, the TNWF termed Late Angami an influential figure who had contributed immensely towards the welfare of the Naga people, adding that his work as a social reformer and pathfinder stand as a testament to power of courage and truth. 

Late Angami’s legacy would be deeply cherished and serve as an example for us to persist in our pursuit of progress and in defending the rights of our land and identity,’ the TNWF stated in a condolence note issued by its President, Rev A Puni and Vice President, Brig (Retd) Pelekho-u Akho Nagi. Stating that it was an honour to have journeyed with him, the TNWF further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members adding:“We mourn with you and celebrates his extraordinary life." 

The UNTABA also expressed sadness over the demise. As a member in the Advisory Board of UNTABA, late Angami had immensely contributed to the causes and purposes of the Association through his unwavering presence of mind, time and financial contributions, it said. 

He was a man of high personal integrity who loved the Naga people and its history passionately, the UNTABA added in a condolence note issued by its Chairman Hukavi T Yeputhomi and General Secretary, Imsumongba Pongen. Late Angami demise has created a big void that can never be filled nor replaced,it noted, further conveying condolences to the bereaved family members and praying the Almighty God to give solace to his soul for eternal peace.
