Top GPRN/NSCN leaders meet media persons; express regret

DIMAPUR, JUNE 11 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN expressed regret over the June 7 incident at Chumukedima wherein media persons waiting to cover the CFMG-GPRN/NSCN meeting were threatened by a Deputy Kilonser of the organization. 

A team of GPRN/NSCN functionaries led by Envoy to the Collective Leadership Alezo Venuh, CFMG Convenor C. Singson, MIP Kilonser Akato Chophy, MIP Secretary Akaho and Home Secretary G. Jimo met with media persons in Dimapur on Monday, June 11. 

Terming the outburst of the GPRN/NSCN functionary as “unfortunate”, the organization was regretful of the words used while stating, “GPRN/NSCN regrets the wrong choice of words used by the Deputy Kilonser.” The organisation also assured that no harm would be done on any member of the media community as a result of the remarks made on that particular day.
