Advisor, Power, Government of Nagaland, Tovihoto Ayemi on Saturday made an appeal to the denizens of Dimapur to support the annual Dimapur Night Carnival which was first initiated by the district administration stating that the event provides opportunities to young talents and entrepreneurs.

“When we support this Carnival, then we are supporting our own local youngsters to showcase their talents and entrepreneurial skills,” he said during the fourth day of DNC at Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur.

“Over the years, I have observed that the Carnival has evolved into a bigger and a better event providing a cordial atmosphere for family and friends to have fun and engage in entertainment,” he said. He also said that the Carnival has evolved more like a festival held annually.

Noting that no outside artists have been roped in this time, Tovihoto said it perfectly went along the main objective of DNC to provide opportunities to the local artists and entrepreneurs.

He lauded the DCCI, EDBA and BAN for putting in their tireless efforts to give denizens of Dimapur a good festive season experience.

Day 4 of the event was focused on promoting up-coming artists. Dreamz Unlimited engaged the crowd with their play on the ill-effects of plastic usage.
