Toyota Kirloskar Motor reports 11% growth in August sales

Bengaluru, September 4 (MExN): Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported an 11 per cent year-on-year growth in total sales for August 2025, selling 34,236 units compared to 30,879 units in the same month last year.

Of the total sales last month, 29,302 units were sold in the domestic market, while 4,934 units were exported, the company said in a statement.

The automaker also reported a 14 per cent growth in cumulative sales for the first eight months of the calendar year (January-August 2025), at 2,41,696 units, as against 2,12,785 units sold in the corresponding period last year.

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, said, “We sold 34,236 units in August 2025, maintaining our steady presence in the market and are encouraged by the continued trust customers place in our cars and services.”

Wadhwa noted that September will be an important phase for the industry overall, and the company will closely observe market trends as they unfold.
