Training on NCD-GOI app held in Mon

KOHIMA, OCTOBER 1 (MExN): The State NCD cell team along with TATATRUSTs consultant provided hands-on training on Non Communicable Disease (NCD) application for Community Health Officers (CHO), nurses of all the Health & Wellness Centres and Sub-Centres and DPMU staff on October 1 in Mon. 

The training aimed to enumerate all individuals from 30 years and above for hypertension, diabetes, oral cancer, cervical cancer and breast cancer and provide assistance in tablet usage for uploading data on NCD enrolment and screening. Reorientation on PBS (CBAC &Family Folder) was also given to DCM and Asha Co-ordinators of the blocks. 

Joint Director and SPO, Dr Mereninla Senlem presented an overview of the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke (NPCDCS). She also highlighted the current scenario of NCPDCS in the country.

The resource person for the training was Vitsiatho Nyuwi (TATA TRUSTs SPO). The team was accompanied by Dr Ebenezer Phesao, MO, NCD and state NCD cell staffs Tonpang Matsung, Programme Manager; Abeni Yanthan, Programme Co-ordinator, and Wapang, FWA.
