Training for self employment and entrepreneurship held

Kohima, September 16 (MExN): One-day training for self employment and entrepreneurship on mixed pickle, detergent washing powder and cleaning gel was held at Kenuozou Government Primary School, Kohima on September 7. The training was sponsored by DPDB Ward Adoption Committee for 10th NA-I A/C Kohima and organised by Department of Cooperation.  

According to DIPR report, the inaugural programme was chaired by Anthony Yhome, Deputy RCS. Shaying Sheu, SDO Civil and Committee Convenor, addressed the participants and encouraged them to avail the opportunity of hands on training and utilise whatever skills they learn from the training. He further urged them to utilise the learnt skills not just for personal use but as a means of self-employment. Short speeches were given by the Committee Members. Ketholenuo Project Officer, NCUI Kohima, gave a brief introduction about the programme and highlighted the benefits. The training programme started with Nenchu offering the invocation. Apfü Mechieo, Chairman Kenuozou Colony Panchayat gave the vote of thanks. The programme was also attended by Chairman, L. Khel along with other colony leaders. The practical session on how to make mixed pickle, detergent washing powder and cleaning gel was conducted by Hetoni and Ketoseno.
