Trance Effect kicks off India & SE Asia tour @Melomania 7.0

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 26 (MExN): Nagaland’s pop-rock band Trance Effect has launched its 2025–26 India and Southeast Asia Tour with an energetic performance at Hope Academy’s Melomania 7.0 in Dimapur on Saturday.

The band’s dynamic set drew an enthusiastic response from hundreds of students, inspiring young audiences to embrace creativity, self-expression, and live performance culture.

Known for its distinctive fusion of catchy pop melodies and driving rock rhythms, Trance Effect has become one of India’s most recognized independent acts. The ongoing tour will feature performances at major music festivals, including Lollapalooza Mumbai, YAA Festival, Jatinga Festival, Aalo Winter Fest, Big Mountain Festival in Thailand, and Hozo Festival in Vietnam.

Managed by the Korean label Sound Puzzle, the band continues to break new ground, representing Nagaland and the wider Northeast independent music scene on regional and international stages. Their stage energy and evolving sound have earned them growing recognition from audiences across Asia.

Adding to their achievements, Trance Effect’s drummer is now an official artist with Red Cymbals (Australia), marking another milestone in the band’s expanding global presence.
