DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): The Nagaland State Transport Department today informed that many departments submit proposals for condemnation of vehicles directly to the Transport Department without obtaining prior approval of the concerned Administrative/Department Head. Furthermore, the particulars of the applicants recommended for allotment of condemned vehicles by the department concerned are also not mentioned as to whether the applicant is a retired government servant or not, a notice issued through the DIPR stated. It therefore directed all proposals for allotment of condemned vehicles shall strictly adhere to the procedures and guidelines laid down in the memoranda issued by Transport Department, and accompanied by particulars of the applicants recommended by the department concerned.
