The Tsütuonuomia Students’ Union (TSU) conducted literary day at T Khel Indoor Stadium, Kohima village on August 28. Addressing the opening ceremony, Dzieseneituo Whuorie, Senior Geologist, Central Geological Service, Geological Survey of India called upon the students to take the competition channel as an opportunity to develop their skills.
He maintained that such a platform (Literary Day) would go a long way in facilitating the student’s future career. “Take this platform as a stepping stone to move to the next step,” he said. He also told the students to formulate a concrete plan and give their best effort to achieve their goals and to have courage and perseverance to pursue their dreams.
TSU President Vituotsolie Victor Solo informed that literary day is an annual feature of the Union. The event was marked by debate, painting, spelling bee, solo, sketching, essay and quiz. Later, Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) President Ruokuoneituo Phewhuo graced the valedictory function and gave away prize to the winners.
