Tuensang DTF to implement guidelines for lockdown period

Tuensang, May 14 (MExN): The Tuensang District Task Force (DTF) for COVID 19 held a meeting at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang on May 13.

The meeting was chaired by DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.  After a detailed discussion on the State government’s total lockdown directives, the DTF members agreed to implement certain guidelines for Tuensang district.

As per the DTF meeting, in Tuensang, One family One Card system shall be applied, where only one family member shall go out with the card for basic essentials activities.

The public has been advised to shop or do essential marketing in their respective wards. Shops will be allowed to open from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Movement of private vehicle has been suspended, except those exempted by the DTF. Agri and Allied farmers will be allowed to go to their field but within a timing of 6:00 am to 9:00 am for going to field and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm for returning from the field. 

To monitor all the guidelines police along with respective Wards and sector leaders shall be given responsibilities, the DTF meeting resolved.

The house also agreed to establish two counseling teams inclusive of Medical experts and religious leaders to guide and aid the COVID -19 patients through telephonic means.
