Tuensang, July 1 (MExN): Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 meeting chaired by DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant was at DC’s conference hall on July 1.
A DIPR report stated that the house reviewed the latest guidelines of the Unlock-1 for the district. The members also reviewed the updates on relief aid given to t those shop keepers whose shops were affected by the lockdown. The house informed that shopkeepers and taxi drivers who have been vaccinated will be issued a sticker ‘I Am Vaccinated’ by the concern department so as to use as a part vaccination campaign. For shop keepers, ADC& Administrator TTC, Ajit Kumar Verma and COC-I are to formulate the modalities. Saloons and beauty parlours are to be open on alternate days but should ensure tested negative for COVID.
Nodal officer for COVID-19 Tuensang, Dr John gave the statistical report on testing and positivity rate of the district for COVID while Dr Sunep reported the statistics of the COVID hospital Tuensang in detail.
SP Tuensang, Amit Nigam gave a report on the successful vaccination of the DEF personnel, which the DC termed as a good example and motivation.
