DRDA Tuensang released translated book on SOP on Covid-19 containment & management and pamphlets for four major communities namely Chang, Sangtam, Yimkhiung and Khiamniungan.
Tuensang, November 20 (MExN): DRDA Tuensang released translated book on SOP on Covid-19 containment & management and pamphlets for four major communities under DRDA Tuensang district namely Chang, Sangtam, Yimkhiung and Khiamniungan.
The book was released by Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang along with Project Director, BDOs and staffs of DRDA, Tuensang in the presence of the pastors from four major churches under Tuensang Town at DRDA, Conference Hall on November 20, stated a press release received here.
DC Tuensang acknowledged the Project Director and RD Department for translating the book in local language which he said will be of great help to the people living in rural areas. He encouraged the department to ensure that every nook and corner of the village under the district must receive this booklet and urge upon the pastors present to send positive message on Covid vaccination along with pasting of those pamphlets in the church premises where ever possible.
The dedication prayer for the booklet and pamphlets was done by the pastors of Chang, Sangtam, and Yimkhiung and Khiamniungan churches of Tuensang town. The materials were handed over to respective BDOs under DRDA, Tuensang by T Achila Quinker, Project Director, DRDA Tuensang for distribution to all villages under DRDA, Tuensang.
