Tuensang to conduct FLNAT under ULLAS on March 21

Attendees during a district-wide mobilisation and learner registration drive carried out from March 2 to 13 to ensure maximum participation in the upcoming FLNAT under ULLAS in Tuensang.

Tuensang, March 17 (MExN): The Tuensang district will conduct the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) on March 21 under the Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society (ULLAS) programme, implemented through the Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram.

According to a press release issued by the District Education Office (DEO), Tuensang, the assessment will be held across 117 examination centres, covering learners enrolled under the programme.

Ahead of the assessment, a district-wide mobilisation and learner registration drive was carried out from March 2 to 13 to ensure maximum participation and preparedness.

As part of the preparations, District Education Officer P Lohe Chachie, along with supervisors, visited learning centres across Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator blocks, interacting with volunteer teachers and learners.

The initiative aims to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy while promoting lifelong learning in the district. The FLNAT assessment will help evaluate the learning outcomes of participants and facilitate certification under the programme, the release  added.
