Tuensang Superintendent of Police Amit Nigam inaugurated a traffic island at Zero Point Tuensang on July 23.

It was inaugurated for the safety of vehicles and pedestrians as well as the smooth implementation of traffic regulations in the town. "This traffic island was a long pending demand of citizens of Tuensang and with the help of kind-hearted citizens, Tuensang police constructed this traffic island, which is now operational," the SP stated.

"Now we will come with a new one-way rule along all important routes in Tuensang town," he added.

It was an initiative of the Tuensang police, with the help of a few prominent members of society.

In appreciation of the traffic personnel of DEF Tuensang who have been the main strength behind the successful enforcement of traffic rules and in recognition of their service, the SP Tuensang made the traffic personnel inaugurate the traffic island.
